The Callaway Community Hospital Annual Employee Picnic was on August 3rd. This year our theme was "A Hawaiian Luau" and fun was had by all. There were games, races, drawings, volleyball, washer tournaments and a super water slide for the kids. The food was given a hawaiian theme. Many thanks to the events committee for their efforts in planning and putting it together and many thanks all the volunteers and the businesses in the community for the generous donations to the door prizes.

Recognizes October as
National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

For your convenience our Mammography Department has extended the hours of service. We have special gift bags for our patients which include helpful Preventive information.
In cooperation with McIntyre Florist CCH is presenting
a small live plant to each person who has a mammogram in the month of October.

Callaway Community Hospital has been participating in the Relay for Life for more than 10 years and we were again a proud participant on June 5th 2009. This annual event is a celebration of life for Survivors and a time of Remembrance of those who lost their battle to Cancer. We were designated as Bronze contributors in 2007, recognized for our contribution in 2008 and were the top corporate contributor in 2009.
By participating in the 2009 American Cancer Society "Help Us Swat Out Cancer!" Relay for Life, you can honor those you have known affected by the disease. There is hope, and each day we are getting closer to a cure!
